LONGFORD, Ireland - Announcing the establishment of a new facility, Indian company Leetha Industries has said that it will be creating 100 new roles in Longford.
The company has said that it is establishing its new manufacturing and supply operation called the Red Seal Cups Limited which is expected to create 100 roles over the next three years.
According to the company’s announcement, it is looking for employees to fill a variety of roles, from senior management to warehouse staff.
The company has stated that Red Seal Cups will produce Leetha’s patented range of heat resistant packaging solutions for the U.K. and European marketplace.
The project is part of a partnership between Leetha and Food Containers Manufacturing U.K. and is supported by IDA Ireland.

Commenting on the announcement, Minister of State Kevin Boxer Moran said that winning investment for regional locations such as Longford is a key focus for the Government.
He added, “I am very pleased to support this project which is a further example of the Government’s commitment to the Regional Action Plan for Jobs. The jobs being created will be a great boost for the local economy and create new opportunities for the community here in Longford."
Meanwhile, IDA Ireland's CEO Martin Shanahan said this was a significant investment and a great win for Longford and the Midlands Region.
