Regulators insist on safety measures for death park

Give me a break, the moron scaled two fences to kill himself, do you really think more signs and more words would have changed things? Here’s a novel idea, let’s try being responsible for our own actions for a change!

The title of this article is outrageous. SFOG is hardly a death park. Just because one person is an idiot and gets himself killed, it doesn’t mean anything. Damn muckraking media.

Pointless, Tasteless, and Inaccurate

Thousands of people a day go to this park, and manage to enjoy themselves with no ill effects. One foolish person who brought about his own destruction through willful disobedience of signs, and knowing acts of trespass in no way makes this a “death park." Sensationalist headlines such as the one above, however, would certainly seem to disqualify this site as a source of anything resembling legitimate journalism.

Yet another GREAT sensationalized Title

One Moron climbs over two fences, which should have had him thinking he is in a bad place to begin with, ignored signs saying restricted area, Danger: authorized personel only and so on. How is this the parks fault? I say its one less idiot to pollute the gene pool. SFoG is nowhere near a deathpark. The news is supposed to report on facts without making trival issues sound worse than they are.

An idiot climbs over two fences and you title this “death park”? Wow this is reckless and irresponsible journalism at it’s lowest...

Sad, anyway you look at it.

While calling this young man names such as “moron, idiot, etc." is uncalled for and does nothing more then bring more hurt to his family, I do find it ridiculous to label the park as a “death park”. I can’t see how the park could be responsible for this young man’s death. His actions led to his death no doubt about that. As a mother of four, my heart goes out to his parents and siblings.
