Chinese government wants commitment from Dalai Lama

The Chinese government has told the Dalai Lama they will not hold further talks with him unless he publicly declares that the activists of Tibetan Youth Congress should not disturb the Beijing Olympic Games.
The Chinese Department in charge of Ethnic Minorities and Religious Affairs has said a new round of talks can be held at the end of the year if the Dalai Lama shows 'positive behavior'.
Du Qinglin, head of the Communist Central Committee in China, recently met with two representatives of the Dalai Lama to tell them he was ready to keep 'the door of dialogue' open.
Du told the representatives: 'The Dalai Lama should openly and explicitly promise not to support activities to disturb the Beijing Olympic Games and plots to fan violence, and justify his words with his actions. He should also take steps to show he does not support the violent terrorist activities of the Tibetan Youth Congress and should help curb them.'
'The central government will continue to support the region's economic and social development and work toward improving the living standards of the people in Tibet,' he said.

Equal right yes, exclusive right no.
That stupid lama wants exclusive right for a group of people, not knowing this world work exactly the other way. He think and many egg head think they know the formula for progress when actually they always plundered into war.
The world always work toward equal right, not exclusive right for certain previlege group.

Would either sides agree to loss of their freedom.
The scheming dalai should realise that he’s happier where he’s at now. If anything results in any talks,it just means that he alone may enter Tibet to do his job as a monk. Would he want that after all the freedom he’s got now. Maybe he’s scared that his foreign masters,now in the beginnings of doldrums,are counting their losses and may stop supporting him unless he produces some results.
What about the Tibetans in Tibet,would they agree to have their former slave masters and their offsprings back to lord it over them now that they also have tasted freedom and are owners of their own land.
