Taliban at work again in Afghanistan killings
India's News.Net Friday 4th July, 2008
At least eight policemen have been in a Taliban insurgent attack on a check post in southern Afghanistan, while three suspected rebels were held for weapons smuggling in the southwest.
The militants attacked the police check post in Kandahar on Thursday night, killing at least eight officers and injuring another.
Meanwhile, a US military statement said that three rebels were detained Thursday during a coalition operation in the southwestern province of Helmand.
The network is also involved in the smuggling of weapons, including machine guns and rockets.
Several weapons caches were discovered and destroyed to prevent future militant use.
Taliban militants have increased their attacks on Afghan and international troops in recent weeks especially in southern and southeastern provinces.

Taliban is waiting to drink your Blood
There are no winners in war.. and what is Osama saying just leave the Taliban loose and take over again? Let the Taliban then not only enslave the Afghan people but also then punish, beat, kill, murder, rape the Afghans for not fighting the amercans.. Now that is better is it not Osama?.. Happy? ..So Osama are you ready to run down and suck the blood out of the afghans if the Taliban take control? what Osama licking your lips in blood lust .. can see that blood dripping from your lips just like a hungry dog

I would say Let them sought there own shit out.
Stuff the pipeline and opium poppie and the strategic position for oil,
Go green and make new technology FAST Make the energy industry local so
!!!where!!!! not held over a barrel for foriegn troubles.
The opium is Feeding the war... get out and let the taliban BAN opium(like they wanted to)we would save alot of lives in the west.
Face it the taliban and the tribal system is what most of the inhabitants want!!let them have it, It is going on anyway as you control very little of Afghanistan.
The U.S is in enough trouble itself without bleeding money and blood for oil and for the drug money to fight dirty little wars in the third world.
I see in the news christians beating, killing, murdering and rapeing children in America why not send the military into america and enforce rule.
And most of all if you want to find the people who are resposible for 9/11 and the MURDER of 6000 and rising human beings.
Have a full investigation into 9/11 and find out the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth as you have no real evidence to blame anyone yet.
