Police seize Rs.10 mn worth fake branded watches

Replicas of branded wrist watches worth nearly Rs.10 million were seized here Saturday, police said.
Tipped off by a leading manufacturer, over 2,500 look-alikes of high-value branded wrist watches, were seized and six suspects arrested in the city after a raid, police sources added.
'There is a global multi-million cheating game giving replicas of top foreign makes (of watches) through email. It seems, some locals have also joined this racket. We are investigating as to whether this is an all-India racket,' an official added.
