New generation Renault Duster made its debut globally about two years ago. In spite of India being one of the biggest market for Duster, Renault decided not to launch the new generation Duster in India. Instead, what we get is a facelift variant of the existing generation Duster, which has been on sale since 2012.

Updated Duster has received new features such as LED DRLs, new projector headlamps, and snazzy chrome-infused front grille. Other key changes include a reworked bonnet, redesigned front bumpers, restyled tailgate with black plastic cladding, roof rails, and new alloy wheels. Duster also gets a new shade of Blue, which gives the SUV a stately look and feel.

Among the key changes expected on the inside is an updated touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This feature is already available in 2019 Renault Kwid. Seat fabrics are also upgraded, which will improve the car's premiumness. There's plenty of faux aluminium, chrome accents and piano black elements, which help jazz up the interiors. Below is the official TVC.

Engine options for Duster facelift are same as earlier. The 1.5-litre petrol unit generates max power of 106 ps and max torque of 142 Nm. Engine is mated to a 5-speed manual or CVT unit. Diesel variant is powered by a 1.5-litre engine that generates 110 ps and 248 Nm. Transmission options include 6-speed manual or AMT. New Duster also comes in a 85 ps diesel variant, which is mated to 5 MT.

In terms of safety, all variants of 2019 Duster will be equipped with parking sensors, dual front airbags, ABS, and speed alerts. All-wheel drive option is offered only in top-spec RxZ variant. Below are detailed prices of new Duster.
